Hey neighbors! 👋

Welcome to Out & About Katella, where the goal is simple: get outside, stay active, meet new people, and make our neighborhood a little less boring! 😂

I'm fairly new to running myself, and I wanted to create a fun, welcoming community for people who enjoy walking, running, and trying different outdoor activities.

All levels are welcome! Whether you're an experienced runner, a complete beginner, a casual walker, or someone who just wants to get out of the apartment and meet new friends, there's a place for you here.

We're not training for the Olympics! 😂 I'm not competitive, and I definitely don't believe exercise needs to feel like torture. We're here to move, laugh, socialize, and enjoy ourselves. Everyone can go at their own pace.

📍 Where?

Our little community is centered around Angel Stadium, Katella Avenue, State College Boulevard, and the surrounding Platinum Triangle neighborhood, including 1818, George, VIVID, and nearby apartment communities. You don't have to live in the neighborhood to join!

⏰ When?

My schedule changes from week to week, so expect a mix of morning and evening walks and runs. We'll keep things flexible and try different days and times.

🐶 Furry friends? Absolutely!

Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome to join our outdoor adventures!

🌙 Evening safety

For our nighttime walks and runs, I'll provide reflective safety vests to help everyone stay visible. We'll also aim to stick together and choose well-lit routes.

☕ And it's not just about running!

Think casual walks, easy runs, coffee afterward, weekend adventures, and whatever other fun ideas we come up with together.

No competition. No pressure. No judgment. Just good people, good energy, and maybe a little complaining about cardio. 😂
