Welcome to Out and About at Ela! Hosted by the Ela Area Public Library, this Meetup group is dedicated to connecting LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies (ages 18+) through fun, free, and inclusive programs.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, explore creative events, or simply find community, you’re welcome here. We offer a variety of events designed with queer voices and experiences in mind.
Programs take place at the Ela Area Public Library and nearby locations in the Chicagoland area. Our mission is to build community, break down barriers, and create space for authentic connection and fellowship.
