About Us: We are a Social Cycling Group for Adults run by Volunteers.
Our Mission:
To bring people together to have fun and make new friends while safely exploring Metro Vancouver and the surrounding areas. This includes some rides to Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and into Washington State..
Our rides range from urban and suburban to rural, on bike friendly roadways, dykes and trails and, from a few hours to all day. Rides are generally easy to moderate in difficulty and may run from 50 to 90 km.
Our goal is for participants to arrive at the end of a ride happy and satisfied with the outing and their ride leaders.
Code of Conduct:
Our cycling group is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members. We expect all participants to conduct themselves with integrity, kindness, and respect towards others during rides or events run by this group. Members should adhere to all traffic laws, ride safely, and support fellow cyclists, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued.
Bullying, harassment, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal abuse, physical intimidation, and any form of discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic. Any member found engaging in such behavior will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion from the group. By participating in our rides, all members agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a positive and supportive cycling community.

This ride is in the reverse direction to our normal route and has approximately 60 km on paved surfaces and 3 km of trails. From Redwood Park, we head north thru Brookswood and Hopington to J D Turkey Farms where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we head south to 0 Ave then west thru Campbell Valley Regional Park and back to Redwood Park.
Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly. Expect some hills.
Distance: 63.5 km.
Expected Duration: 5.5 hrs.
Bring: snacks/water. Pack a lunch or buy lunch at J D Farms

The loop route takes us north and east thru Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge along streets and Golden Ears Parkway to Alouette Lake where we stop for Lunch. Our return is along Alouette Rd back thru Maple Ridge and on a different set of streets to Pitt Meadows Athletic Park.
Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly. There is one long hill.
Distance: 47.5 km.
Expected Duration: 5 Hrs
Bring: snacks/water and Pack a Lunch.

This is a loop ride with 44.7 km paved surface and 12 km hard packed trail. The route runs west thru Burnaby and Vancouver to and over the North Arm Bridge Bikeway, then west over the Bridgeport Rd. Bridge onto Sea Island and out to Iona Beach. The return takes us to McDonald Beach where we stop for lunch then over the Morey Channel Bridge back to and over the North Arm Bridge Bikeway to 59th Ave and east across Vancouver to Kerr Street and South to the Fraser Foreshore Trail and the start point.
Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly.
Distance: 56.7 km
Estimated Ride Time: 5.5 hrs.Bring: snacks//water and PACK A LUNCH. There are no food places near the lunch stop.

This is a loop ride with 53 km on paved surfaces and 4 km on hard-packed trails. The route runs west along the Deer Lake Parkway Trail then north to the Central Valley Greenway onto 5th Ave where we stop for coffee at Purebread Bakery. Next we head north to False Creek and follow the Seaside bike route to Jericho Beach, then south to 8th Ave and west again to UBC where we stop for lunch at Bean Around the World. After lunch we cross thru Pacific Spirit Park to 37th Ave and 45th Ave, thru Central Park and onto the BC Parkway Trail back to Edmonds Park.Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly.
Distance: 57.3 km
Estimated Ride Time: 5 hrs.Bring: snacks/water, and pack a Lunch.
