Little Switzerland (Mullerthal) Trail - Hiking Adventure

Details
DESCRIPTION
Often referred to as Luxembourg's Little Switzerland, the Mullerthal region owes this name to its hilly landscape reminiscent of Switzerland.
The Mullerthal Trail is a very long pathway leading through hilly landscapes and forests into the heart of unspoiled nature.
As there are many possibilities to explore this vast area, we will only choose the trail leading to the Schiessentümpel waterfalls on foot: from the "Touristcenter Heringer Millen" on local routes (W6 & W7), about 1 km away, or from the large parking between the town of Müllerthal and the Breidweiler bridge on the CR121 road.
The waterfalls are about 500 m away from the parking. You can get there by taking the Mullerthal Trail route 3 in the direction of Mullerthal.
After hiking for around a couple of hours, you might be tempted to stop by Echternach which is the "capital" of the Mullerthal Region and the oldest city in Luxembourg. We are currently a group of 5 with some Italian friends of mine and will probably have lunch there.
I cannot take any further passengers as we are already 5. So you might get a free ride depending on the number/availabilities of the other car owners.
