Luxembourg - Sicily (Italy) - July 2024

Here is the group trip that I am planning for July 2024.

The next destination is Sicily, a fascinating place at the eternal crossroads of the Mediterranean.

This gorgeous island boasts a dazzling diversity of wonderful landscapes, beautiful beaches, and cultural treasures, not to mention Mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe.

Needless to say, this island really stands out among the 20 regions of Italy.

Here are the cities that we are going to visit.

1. Milan
2. Catania
3. Taormina
4. Capo d'Orlando

Travel organization:
As two options are available, here is the roadmap that I suggest following.

Option 1: Flight from Lux to Milan with a 1/2-day stopover, and then flight from Milan to Catania (Sicily). A total of 2 return tickets.

Option 2: From Lux/Metz to Milan by car (7 h), with a 1/2-day stopover in Milan, then we fly to Catania (Sicily). Only 1 return ticket.

I personally go for option 2. So I'll drive to Milan, with a 1/2-day stopover in Milan, then we fly to Sicily. I can take up to 3 passengers.
