"THERE ARE 3 LADDERS ON THE TRAIL THAT DOGS CAN'T CLIMB" and you'll need both hands to climb these steep ladders.
The hike is about 7.5 miles and 2,300 feet in elevation gain. We'll take our time but it's still a Very Difficult Hike. All the elevation is in 3.5 miles.
David will be leading a 2nd group going up faster and maybe more miles
There is "No Cell Service" on this section of the Blueridge Parkway, Let me know if you're meeting at Speedway in Blowing Rock or at the Boone Fork Parking Lot (This "IS NOT" the parking lot for the Boone fork Trail)
Speedayway Gas Station. 7206 Valley Blvd, Blowing Rock, NC. We'll pull out for the Boone Fork Parking Lot at 9:15 sharp. if you're late you're own your own.

Caravan/Carpool at Lowes Home Store in front of the Garden Center 1041 Charlotte Hwy Troutman. we'll be pulling out at 7:30 AM, don't be late. I'll be staying in the mountains for a few days so I'll lead the caravan but can't take any carpoolers.
