Rock Castle Gorge VA STRENUOUS 11 Mile Hike

11 miles 2513 feet elevation gain average estimated time is six hours very strenuous loop

There will be demanding climbs, bouldering, beautiful Meadows
You’ll see waterfalls follow along the rock castle, gorg river, beautiful homesteads and EPIC Views!!

Friday Aug 22 we are planning on camping at the Rocky knob campground, which is at the trailhead for this hike
There are plenty of campsites available at this time

Please bring plenty of water a trail lunch and a hiking pole will help you tremendously. The descent down is very steep
If you’re not planning on camping, we will meet you at the Rocky knob, campground parking across from the trailhead 9am
