Description:
Come enjoy a summertime treat at the famous Pretzel Hut after an "enjoyable" 14 mile scramble through parts of The Middle Creek Wildlife area and Furnace Hills. We will start out by climbing Cannon's Hill and make our way to Elder's Run for another climb. We will loop back across Rt 501 and over to Eagles Rock before indulging in ice cream, chili dogs, pretzels,etc......(you can click Pretzel Hut link above for full menu)

GEAR REQUIRED:
1- Proper footwear- hiking boots or trail runners as there mixed terrain
2- Appropriate clothing for conditions
3- Source of hydration; food/snacks as needed
4- Electrolytes suggested
5- Hiking poles and backpacks as needed.
6- Sunscreen and bug spray as desired

WEATHER: Heavy rain, wind or storms will cancel.

PARKING AND MEETING LOCATION: We will park in lot located across the street from Pretzel Hut which is located at 2224 Furnace Hills Pike (AKA: route 501), Nemanstown, PA17073. See MEETUP PIN for exact lot.

1. Unless otherwise posted, all attendees must be members of Outdoor Adventure Friends. This is for communication purposes to ensure that those in attendance understand exactly what they are signing up for.
2. Please be courteous and change your rsvp in a timely fashion if you can no longer attend an event. Repeated no shows or a history of signing up and dropping off excessively when there is a wait list will exclude you from being moved off of future wait lists and special events
3. Unless otherwise posted, friendly well behaved dogs are welcome on hikes. Simply ask that you follow leash guidelines and post in comments so other attendees know a dog will be there. NOTE: some hikes may involve rock scrambles or conditions not suitable for a dog. In addition, some places we hike do not allow animals. It is your responsibility to read description carefully and make appropriate decision as well as ensure place we are hiking at allows animals.
