Trekking the Gladwyne Trails (moderate pace & 6.25 miles)

Details
** 6:15pm PROMPT start**
This is a new to me hike. The route will be made from various trails tucked away in the beautiful Gladwyne section of the Mainline. This is not a beginner hike, but not one of my advanced hikes. We will keep an average moderate pace between 3.2- 3.5 mph. Total mileage will be around 6.25 with (according to Alltrails) about 950' elevation.
Highlights along the way include:
*Riverbend Environmental Center
*Kenealy Park
*Saunders Wood Preserve
* little bamboo forest
Only negative I have read is that one of the trails is very close to Rt 76 making it noisy on that section....so talk louder....lol
GEAR REQUIRED: hiking footwear as there will be plenty of rocks, roots and slippery conditions. Water or other source of hydration.
PARKING AND MEETING LOCATION: We will park in the lot for the Riverbend Environmental Center located at 1950 Spring Mill Rd, Gladwyne, PA 19035. See Meetup PIN for exact location.
GUEST POLICY: All attendees must be members of Outdoor Adventure Friends. This is for communication purposes to ensure that those in attendance understand exactly what they are signing up for.
PLEASE NOTE: I cannot respond to calls, texts, emails, messages on meetup, or comments on the event page once we start hiking. Plan accordingly.
NOTICE: Meetup organizers are not professionally trained. By attending an event you are agreeing that YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AT ALL TIMES. No member of the group EXCEPT YOURSELF can be held responsible for any damages, accidents, or liabilities incurred while hiking with us.
