Fourth of July Paddle at Marsh Creek followed by GTGF event at The Ridge

Stuck in PA for the 4th of July and looking for a whole day and night of fun topped off with fireworks? Well I may have the prefect event for you broken into two parts....

Here are the details:

Part 1:

A casual paddle around Marsh Creek via SUP or kayak. We will stop 2-3 times throughout the event to hang out and float. Overall time on water estimated at 2.5-3 hours. Will see how things go/how group feels.
We will meet at 11 am with launch time of 11:30 am. Make sure to have a PFD and launch permit.

Meet in the parking strip to the right of the West boat launch @ 11 am to prep. We will be underway by @ 11:30am at the latest. See pic for parking area marked in blue. This is a holiday and it may get very crowded, so fingers crossed. There is an overflow low very close by. So you may need to drop off your equipment and then go park in the overflow lot. Keep an eye out for comments day of event close to event time. I plan to get there early and scope it out and try to secure a spot so we have at least one spot to drop off equipment.

Part 2:

After the paddle, we can head to Chesterbrook for the Good Times, Great Friends Independence Day Bash. Their event is being held at The Ridge beer garden. Here is the link for that event so you can read all the details including location: GTGF Independence Day Bash
As you will see when you visit the link, there are fireworks after the beer garden.

Note: you can attend any portion or all of the planned activities. Signing up here is for the paddle. If you are a member of GTGF, you can sign up for their event via the link above. If not, you will simply be my guest at that event and can make game day decision.
