Trexler Border and Elk view trail Moderate pace, 10ish miles-multiple levels

Details
Join me as we hike the border of the Trexler Preserve and the Elk View Trail. We will cover about 10 miles and 1,700 feet of elevation. Trexler is a great place to challenge yourself without the terrain, distance or elevation being too difficult.
*THIS IS A MULTIPLE LEVEL HIKE TO ENCOURAGE MORE FOLKS TO COME OUT SINCE SOME OF YOU ARE AFRAID OF MY HIKES..LOL*
Pace will be about 3.2- 3.5ish mph average with very limited stops for fast group. The second group will be about 2.7- 3ish mph average. And I imagine they will do the unthinkable and stop for a break a couple times (inside hiking joke among OAF....IYKYK).
Sorry, but there is no SLOW option and this is NOT a beginner hike. Must have some basic level of hiking skills and fitness for safety purposes.
For newer members with at least some fitness level/experience, this is a great opportunity for you to increase your stamina. This is a slightly challenging hike due to mileage and rolling hills, but the terrain is not as difficult as most places we hike on weekends. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you are on the fence and/or have questions. Here to help you grow..:)
Gear required:
