Snapshot:
Intensity: Moderate to advanced
Length: 12 miles
Duration: 4-5 hours (Note end times are best estimate)
Pace: average 3,2 mph (slightly faster flats and slower, but steady on climbs)
Elevation: 1,900 feet
Description:
Mt Minsi offers some spectacular views of the Delaware River. We will begin with a climb to the top and then along the AT over to Totts Gap. I am hopeful to pass the remains of the fire tower before we circle back on the AT. I mapped out some additional trails to add to the experience and mileage...:)

Expect a moderate plus pace (see snapshot above). We keep moving with limited regrouping. HOWEVER, we will have 2-3 stops to take in the various viewpoints along the way. One of the stops will be for refueling.

GEAR REQUIRED:
1- Proper footwear- hiking boots or trail runners for hikes in woods
2- Appropriate clothing for conditions: layers, wind and rain protection based upon forecast.
3- WATER or other source of hydration; food/snacks as needed and suggested for hikes over 8 miles
4- Electrolytes suggested
5- Hiking poles and backpacks as needed.
6- Sunscreen and bug spray as desired

WEATHER: Steady rain will cancel
PARKING AND MEETING LOCATION: Parking lot for AT Mt Minsi. See Meetup PIN for precise location.
Post Hike Celebration: TBD
