Trekking the Gladwyne Trails (moderate pace & 6.25 miles)

** 6:15pm PROMPT start**
We did this last year and it was interesting enough to repeat. The route will be made from various trails tucked away in the beautiful Gladwyne section of the Mainline. We will keep an average moderate pace between 3.2- 3.5 mph. Total mileage will be around 6.25 with (according to Alltrails) about 950' elevation.
Highlights along the way include:
*Riverbend Environmental Center
*Kenealy Park
*Saunders Wood Preserve
* little bamboo forest
Parking is limited, so hike is limited to 25. Carpool when possible...
GEAR REQUIRED: hiking footwear as there will be plenty of rocks, roots and slippery conditions. Water or other source of hydration.
PARKING AND MEETING LOCATION: We will park in the lot for the Riverbend Environmental Center located at 1950 Spring Mill Rd, Gladwyne, PA 19035. See Meetup PIN for exact location.
