West Laurel Hill & Westminster cemetery PLUS Heritage trail and Manayunk

** 5:30pm SHARP departure**
NOTE: EARLIER TIME DUE TO CEMETERY HOURS
6.5 mile hike starting with a tour of West Laurel Hill cemetery. The plan is to cross over the Pencoyd Bridge into Bala for a little climb to the cemetery. We will do a nice loop in the cemetery before exiting onto the Heritage Trail. Then a brief visit of the Westminster cemetery. Back on the Heritage trail and across the bridge into Manayunk ultimately looping back to the starting point.

Please keep the following in mind:
1. Pace is about 3.2-3.5 and we keep moving with no breaks, only slight pauses. Pace will be a little slower in West Laurel Hill as there is so much to take in.
2. Feel free to take pics, etc...just catch back up as we can't possibly stop every time someone wants to stop for pics.
3. We will be done hiking around 8:00 pm

Gear required: Sneakers are ok for this hike.

Parking/Meetup spot: we will meet in the Cadence Cycling parking lot located at 3740 Main St. in Manayunk. We will meet at the opposite end close to the Pencoyd bridge. Look for a big metal railroad truss with a Manayunk sign in front of it. THERE ARE NOW TOWING SIGNS THROUGHOUT THE LOT. so i would not park in the lot. There is free parking in street in front of lot. Also street parking on the street near the Wissahickon train station. Simply walk through tunnel and down steps to the lot.
