Egg Harbor River, Let's try Penny Pot to Acagisca

This trip is Penny Pot to the Acagisca, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the good weather. We might have temps that will be nice. Note the 10:00 am start time, there should be good parking.

The Penny Pot Park is a small parcel of land located at Spur 561 and Eighth Ave. (right off of Route 322) in Folsom it's easy to get to the Penny Pot Park.

Starting point is Penny Pot Park, ending at the Acagisca.This is a good trip for intermediate paddlers, not recommended for new folks due to debris, hazards and water height. This is typically a 5 hour trip, approximately 10 miles. The river is winding. There is usually beautiful flora and fauna along the way and historic sites to be seen. We will be stopping along the way for lunch and swimming. Lets take advantage of the good water level.

-water

-sunscreen

-hat

-lunch

-pfd (life jacket) -- this is mandatory!

-change of clothes

-hand sanitizer or wipes

-personal pen for signing in

-a flexible approach to the new normal!

-Bug Spray

OCSJ Guidelines include:

1. Please bring a mask, hand sanitizer or wipes and a personal pen to sign in with.
2. Shuttle will be organized among participants, but it is important to note that is not part of the club activity. Getting into a vehicle with other people is a personal choice, and masks are strongly encouraged!
3. If you have RSVP’d to attend and cannot, please be courteous and cancel so others can attend. Do this at least 24 hours before activity start time.
