Hike Washington Lake Pk brisk fast quick pace 5 miles with an option for 6 mile

We will explore Washington Lake park on some paved and some unpaved trails for about 5 miles. This will be a 18-20-minute fast pace. Suggest hiking boots or hiking shoes/sneakers as there can be some wet areas. Hats and sunglasses, as well as we will be walking out of the woods in sections.

The hike is 5 miles; however, I will have an option to continue for another mile to total 6 miles to anyone interested in joining me.

This is a brisk fast quick pace. Know your limits. If you can do 3 miles in 1 hour with no stopping, you will be fine. No scheduled breaks.

We will meet in Parking Lot E, which is right next to the Amphitheater. There are portapotties at the parking lot and at various places along the way. I drive a black Honda Pilot and have a long blonde braid.

Arrive at 915am. to sign in, listen to a brief safety talk, and then we will be on our way at 930am.
