Hilly South Jersey Hidden Gem Hike

Join us on this moderate to quick-paced 4-5mi hike through the woods of Ceres Park & Nature Preserve, a Gloucester County hilly favorite!

Low-key challenging and fun hike, it can be hot and muggy with all the streams & wetlands but it is heavily wooded so we are at least shaded. Bug spray highly recommended!

Terrain is sometimes rooty, lots of leafy, mostly packed dirt trails and sometimes muddy spots with lots of up/down, some steep inclines/declines and stream crossings! (I think of it as a Wissahickon-lite with no rocks)

Footwear with traction/spikes/crampons recommended due to steep dirt/leaf covered slopes & downed trees, and poles/walking stick may be useful!

Note this is a popular bike park (many hills & possibly minor bike traffic) and parking may be tight.
