Join me for a 7 mile hike and enjoy the winter vistas in and around Batsto. We will meet at the Batsto Parking Lot and hike the Sand and Water Trail, a sandy forest road through a white cedar swamp and utilizing a series of wooden foot bridges, to the beautiful and peaceful 1808 Trail. The 1808 Trail takes us through Mordecai Swamp with some of the most spectacular views of a white cedar forest that populates this area, and then on to the Buttonwood Camp Connector where it meets with the Batona Trail before heading back toward Batsto.
