Batona Trail Southbound

Please make note of the new meetup time.
Meet at Batsto Village parking lot back by the bathroom building by 9:15 to sign in, use the bathrooms and hear safety talk. We will carpool, promptly, at 9:30 to Carranza Memorial. Carpool not covered under OCSJ. Please be willing to shuttle drivers back to their cars. We are starting a little earlier due to long shuttle and longer hike.
We will be hiking aprox 13 miles southbound to Batsto. Pace will be aprox 3 mph

Must be active OCSJ member to attend.

Bring water, snacks, lunch and something to sit on. Bring extra water, especially if it is hot. Better to bring it and not need it then not have enough. Lunch will be at Quaker bridge.
I will be in dark Ford pick up truck.
Bring bug spray and sunscreen.
If I need to reschedule or cancel, I will do so by 6:30 the morning of the hike.
