Outdoor Club South is a Charlotte, NC based hiking and outdoor Meetup club. Most activities are within a 3 hour radius from Charlotte, with a focus on hiking, camping, backpacking, and social events.
OCS adventures are geared towards hikers and nature enthusiasts wanting to experience the full range and beauty of North Carolina and surrounding areas. Some of the events you can expect to see on our calendar include overnight camping trips to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, day hikes to some of North Carolina’s most spectacular waterfalls, and coastal camping trips to the Outer Banks. OCS also plans many local hikes, mountain bike rides, and indoor rock climbing events. If you have any questions or suggestions please contact us.
