Harvesting the Rain!

Participants will learn how to design and install a rain garden to capture rain and storm water while creating a thriving, water-efficient, landscape celebrating native plants.

This hands-on workshop will include the installation of a rain garden at EVERGREEN founder, Siân Greenwood's, family home.

This will be the first in a series of workshops, "Living the Santa Margarita Watershed".

- Julie Regalado - longtime educator facilitating experiences for humans to conscientiously attend to their relationship with the planet, Water Harvesting Design certificate

- Cindy Robbins - of Robbins Nest Landscape Design prioritizing native plants and green infrastructure in her work to build verdant pollinator gardens

- Scott Hanson - environmental educator whose love for Steelhead took him on a lifelong adventure with the Sta. Margarita watershed.

- Walker Wilson - owner of Walkers Wildlands Nursery and Landscape celebrating the diversity of our eco-system through growing, using, and teaching about native plants.

Limited to 15 participants.

Participants - please bring gloves, hat, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Something to write with & on will be useful for taking notes. Tools are welcome if you have them!

This is an EVERGREEN event in collaboration with the Temecula Valley Native Plant Network.
