The temp is predicted to be high 60's to low 70's. Let's enjoy the nice day by getting a good work out in! This hike will be a combination of some stairs and the Stillwater bridge to bridge hike. We'll meet in front of the lift bridge and head off to do a couple of the iconic stairs in town. Then we will do a bridge to bridge hike for total of about 6 miles.

This may be a challenging work out due to the stairs and the hill on the other side of the lift bridge. The pace would be considered moderate plus. The hiking portion will be 16:30 - 17 minute mile pace. It is pretty flat except for the 1st hill. The trail is 95%+ paved trail.

Social time afterwards at Brian's Bar & Grill where they have $3 burgers on Wednesday's. The address is Brian's Bar & Grill - 219 Main St S, Stillwater, MN 55082.

We'll start the event pretty quickly (6:05 PM) so If you are running late, please leave a message on the event so we know to wait for you, or go looking for you. Future events may be limited if you are a no show.

Dog's are allowed, but must be kept on a leash. Owners are required to pick up after their pet. Dogs are not allowed in Brian's.

Things to know for hiking:

1. Dress in layers. It may be cool at the start, but you will warm up while hiking. Layers allows you to remove a layer, if needed.
2. Bring a dry shirt for socializing afterwards. It helps prevent chills in all seasons!
3. Decent shoes. There are stairs (concrete) and the hike is 95% paved.
4. Bring water as you feel necessary.

We will meet at the pedestrian plaza by the historic lift bridge and start our hike from there. Please don't leave valuables in your vehicle. While we haven't had issues, other groups have and better to be safe than sorry!

By signing up you agree to release the organizers, event hosts and other members of the event from any liability. Please do not attend if you are ill/contagious as no one else wants to get sick.

Hope to see you on the trail!
