Weather permitting, if you're up for a day in the woods, join me for a moderately challenging 5-7 mile hike (a few mild climbs), through natural forest that includes beautiful marcescent Beech trees and a stretch of the Alcovy River.
My hiking style is small group, exploratory-like pace (~2-2.5 mph), not a sprint, not a stroll, break when/if needed, and we start, hike, finish together. Trekking poles welcome.
Kindly leave your furry 4-legged loved ones at home.
End time is a guesstimate, please allow for some flexibility.
