Astoria Neighborhood Walk
Details
This walk is approximately 5 miles long, taking place on city streets. This is a slow-paced walk.
Meet at 11:30 AM at the turnstiles of the Astoria/Ditmars Boulevard train station, which is the last stop on the N train in Queens.
We will walk through 20th Avenue to Ralph De Marco Park. Then, we will visit Astoria Park for lunch and use the restrooms. After that, we will continue our walk along the shore and end at Socrates Sculpture Park, which has some outdoor experimental art. Bring lunch and water.
Nonmembers of the Outdoors Club pay $5.00. This is a joint walk with Shorewalkers.
