OUTdoorsy Explores Colors of the Wild

Colors of the Wild is Jacksonville Zoo's beautiful Zoo Lights event, running from November - February. You will be able to see a gorgeous variety of Asian lanterns. As twilight falls, wander through a shimmering Winter Wonderland filled with sparkling lights and seasonal magic that adds a cozy, festive glow to the evening. Each lantern invites you to explore stories of wildlife, myth and the natural world, celebrating the beauty and wonder that connect us all.

Non-member tickets are $30 as long as you purchase them at least 24 hours ahead of time. You can purchase tickets day of if you aren't certain you'll be able to go, but those tickets will be $35. All tickets include same-day Zoo admission starting at 3 pm, so you can explore the park and stay for the full Colors of the Wild experience!

We can plan on meeting inside the zoo at 3 pm, and I can walk people around and share facts about some of the animals I work with. The jaguars and tigers are my personal favorites. Then we can enjoy some tasty food at the zoo as darkness falls, and spend a couple of hours enjoying the zoo after dark as the lanterns come to life. You can also feel free to join us at any time during the event.
