Outdoorsy Care Bag Project In Action

Join us as we put our Care Bag Project into action!

We’ll be heading into the downtown Jacksonville area to distribute care bags to members of our community experiencing homelessness—offering not just essential items, but kindness and human connection.

📍 Meet-Up Location:
501 N Davis Street
LaVilla School of the Arts (parking lot)

🚶 Plan:
We’ll begin with a short meetup, then walk together to the Beaver St. & Jefferson St. area near Trinity Rescue Mission to distribute care bags.

If additional bags remain, we’ll continue on to the Clara White Mission area at Broad St. & Ashley St. to reach even more individuals in need.

🤝 Safety & Respect Guidelines
To ensure a positive experience for everyone involved:

Lead with respect and kindness – Every interaction matters

Offer, don’t insist – Not everyone may want a care bag, and that’s okay

Respect personal space and boundaries

Stay aware of your surroundings and walk in small groups

Follow the group lead’s guidance at all times

Do not take photos of individuals

Trust your instincts
