King Tide September “Equinox Walk” (Equiwox)

We willl start with introductions promptly at 9:15 AM. Then we have been invited by a volunteer docent to tour the magnificent and historical Scottish Rite Temple whose members are celebrating its 100th anniversary. I have been taken on a preview tour. This is a building you must see. From there we will accompany the newly crowned King of Tides and Equinox Queen along lower Hogan’s Creek, past the old City Cemetery, the Jacksonville History Center, and then the “mouth” of Hogan’s Creek. Be sure to take lots of “before” pics, as this is part of the multi-million dollar Emerald Trail redevelopment. The total round trip is only 2.4 miles. After the hike we hope you can join us at Crispy’s at 1735 North Main St.
