Devil's Den Spring
Details
If you went to Ichetucknee and/or Rainbow Springs and had a good time, I am sure this will top those. It's time to try Devil's Den Spring. This is a 90 minute snorkeling event followed by swimming at John's Oasis afterwards. Dive into the captivating world of Devil's Den Prehistoric Spring, one of Florida's premier scuba diving destinations. Discover the rich history of natural Florida along the walls of the cave, where many ancient fossils dating back to the Pleistocene Age have been unearthed. Snorkeling is down steps into a cave with a guided tour group. The cost is $30 for this event PLUS $15 for mask/snorkel/fin which is required. You can bring your own in lieu of this $15 fee. You must reserve a spot to snorkel and actually snorkel. OR you can simply reserve a spot at John's Oasis (swimming hole) and spend the day there for a $15 fee. If you reserve a spot for snorkeling, you automatically are granted access to the water hole. There is no general swimming in the snorkel area nor can you just walk into the cave to check it out.
Devil's Den is located at 5390 NE 180th Ave Williston, FL, 32696. Do not confuse it with Devil's Den Creek. Check out their website here. It explains everything. https://devilsden.com.
