This is an opportunity to discover new contacts and ideas through interpersonal networking conversations with people from many related Meetup groups including social entrepreneurs, consultants, community organizers, co-creators, marketing executives, mentors and other fascinating and successful people living in the Washington DC area. You may meet prospective clients, associates, community leaders, successful entrepreneurs and learn about new ideas and blessings. This community event is for people who want to advance and meet people from diverse backgrounds. This is an inclusive Network Alliance community event, for those interested in discovering great people and programs in the community. In the past about 45 people from a variety of occupations have attended, including investors, community builders, social entrepreneurs, spiritual mentors, IT professionals, web developers, etc. Most of the participants are interested in community outreach, sharing excellent educational programs they discovered and building broad community support.
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
Attendees come in and sit down at a table to order what they wish to have for lunch (self-pay for what they order). They get to know others of diverse backgrounds and enjoy networking conversations at their table. After everybody have arrived about 1pm, there is a round of self-introductions so you know who you wish to followup with. After the round of self-introduction, then the group break out for interpersonal networking and exchange of business cards. People may stay until dinner time so you can followup right away with new contacts.
The intention is to make new contacts, share valuable information and build new relationships through the 3rd Sunday monthly events. Once a comfort and trust level is established and people are ready to work together harmoniously with appreciation, forgiveness and understanding, then many new opportunities may open up through our co-sponsors. These monthly community events provide initial opportunities to make face-to-face contacts, develop more community allies of diverse background for collaborative projects and to connect with others with similar passion. Express your interest to the co-organizers and followup if you have some time to go to advance to the next step. From this event you may be invited to other by-invitation only followup opportunities and sessions. Ask the co-organizers about the small group followup sessions at the event.
WHEN: 12:30PM TO 2:30PM on the third Sundays of each month. The restaurant welcomes you to stay until dinnertime to followup on the new contacts made at this networking event. The organizers know of many unique opportunities for people with extra time and energy to invest in themselves and their community!
