Get ready for an amazing day in the Azores that you won't forget. We'll start off surfing then well go to Lagoa das Sete Cidades, where the views are straight out of a postcard. Then, we'll head over to Miradouro da Boca do Inferno to soak in the stunning coastal scenery. After that, it's time to relax in the peaceful oasis of Parque Terra Nostra before we dive into the geothermal wonders of Furnas. And guess what? We'll wrap up the day with a delicious late lunch at Tony's, where we'll taste some mouthwatering Azorean dishes.

## Day 3 - August 18

Faial da Terra ⁃ Salto do Prego ⁃ Sanguinho ⁃ Miradouro da Ponta da Madrugada ⁃ Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego
We'll start our adventure in Furnas, immersing ourselves in its natural beauty. Our next stop will be canyoneering, where we'll experience thrilling adventures.And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, we'll wrap up the day at Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego, where you can take in the sunset over the Atlantic in all its glory.

PICO
Get ready for an incredible first day on Pico Island! We'll start with thrilling whale watching, then cool off at natural swimming pools. Finally, we'll head to Ponta da Ilha for stunning coastal views.

## Day 6 - August 21

PICO
We'll explore Gruta da Torre, then head to Criação Velha for some island charm. Next up, we'll relax at Lagido, enjoying the scenic beauty. Finally, we'll top it off with a wine tasting at sunset followed by dinner at Cela Bar.

## Day 7 - August 22

PICO / SÃO MIGUEL
FLY BACK TO SÃO MIGUEL MORNING
Once we get back to Sao Miguel, we'll start with a delicious lunch at Caloura followed by some relaxation time at the beautiful beach. Then, we'll hop on a late afternoon boat ride (TBD) for some scenic views. To end the day perfectly, we'll enjoy our last dinner together.

## Day 8 - August 23

DEPARTURE
After an unforgettable week in the Azores, we’ll say our goodbyes and make our way back home.

We’re so excited to be ringing in the new year in Rio de Janeiro. Rio is one of our favorite beach cities in the world, combining the urban environment with the laidback culture of the Cariocas
This will be a great break from the northern hemisphere winter blues, as we’ll explore what Rio has to offer during their summers. Plan to meet new friends while enjoying Brazilian funk music, the kaleidoscope of street art, refreshing fruit stands, and/or endless plates of barbecue meats.

### WHAT TO EXPECT

Rio de Janeiro comes alive with an electrifying energy known around the world. The city becomes a vibrant playground, offering a myriad of experiences for visitors of all kinds. We’ll soak up the sun on the world-famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Explore the bustling streets of Rio, adorned with colorful decorations, as the city gets ready for New Year's Eve. On December 31, witness the world’s best fireworks display over Copacabana Beach, accompanied by lively music. After the clock strikes midnight, we’ll join the locals in a traditional ritual of jumping seven waves for good luck in the coming year. During this time, Rio de Janeiro is a celebration, ensuring an unforgettable experience filled with joy, warmth, and excitement.

## Day 1 - December 27 ARRIVAL

Wednesday, December 27th Fly into Rio de Janeiro
Once everyone has arrived we’ll ease our way into this adventure sunset drinks as Pedra Do Arpoador, followed by dinner.

## Day 2 - December 28

Bike Tour & Beach
We’ll head out on a morning bike tour through the lively streets of Rio de Janeiro, where the warm breeze carries the lively rhythms of samba. Pedal along the scenic coastline, taking in panoramic views of iconic landmarks such as Sugarloaf Mountain and Copacabana Beach. After working up an appetite, we’ll treat ourselves to a delightful lunch at a beachside restaurant, savoring the flavors of fresh seafood and tropical fruits. Then, spend a blissful afternoon on the golden sands, basking in the sun, dipping into the azure waters, and immersing yourself in the vibrant beach culture.

## Day 3 - December 29

Pedra Bonita & Parque Lage
After breakfast we’ll hike up Pedra Bonita, immersing ourselves in the lush nature of Rio de Janeiro. Once we reach the summit we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the city, the Atlantic Ocean, and the surrounding Tijuca Forest.
After the hike, we’ll spend a peaceful afternoon in Parque Lage, a serene oasis nestled at the foot of Corcovado Mountain. Stroll through its enchanting gardens, explore the historic mansion turned art school, and relax by the tranquil lake, surrounded by the harmonious sounds of nature.
Later on we’ll enjoy dinner & night out at Mirante do Arvrão.

## Day 4 - December 30

Escadaria Selaron & Santa Theresa
We’ll begin our day with a visit to the vibrant Escadaria Selaron, a magnificent staircase adorned with colorful tiles from all over the world. As we climb the steps, immerse yourself in the artistic ambiance and admire the intricate mosaic patterns.
Afterward, we’ll head to the trendy neighborhood of Santa Teresa for lunch and an afternoon filled with charm and culture. We’ll explore its winding streets, lined with charming colonial buildings, art galleries, and trendy boutiques.
We’ll end the day with dinner in Lapa.

## Day 5 - December 31

Cachoeira do Horto & New Year’s Eve Celebration
We’ll spend an enchanting day at Cachoeira do Horto, a picturesque waterfall nestled in the Tijuca Forest. Immerse ourselves in nature as we hike through lush trails, listen to the soothing sounds of cascading water, and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear pools.
In the evening, we’ll prepare for an unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration in Rio de Janeiro. We’ll join the lively festivities at Copacabana Beach, where locals and people from around the globe gather to witness the most extensive NYE fireworks display and dance to live music. As the clock strikes midnight, we’ll soak in the Brazilian spirit and raise a toast to new beginnings under the starry sky.

This day is a free day to do whatever your heart desires. We may just spend the entire day on the beach.

## Day 7 - January 2nd

Sugar Loaf & Christ
We’re hitting up Rio de Janeiro's most iconic landmarks, starting with a cable car ride to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain.
We’ll then visit the Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain.
Afterward, indulge in one of the best churrasco dinners Rio has to offer. Assador Rio, is a renowned restaurant offering a mouthwatering selection of Brazilian grilled meats and a fancier ambiance, providing the perfect ending to a week filled with unforgettable experiences.

## Day 8 - January 3rd

Departure
After an unforgettable week in Rio, we’ll say our goodbyes and make our way back home.

An Iceland adventure to ring in the new year! Iceland in the winter is one of the most unique environments in the world and the perfect place for our New Year’s Eve adventure. This trip is made for outdoor enthusiasts who not only like to dive head-first into outdoor adventures but who also want to be immersed in a foreign culture. Each activity you can (or cannot) find yourself doing is a hand-picked, one-of-a-kind experience only Iceland can offer.
Most people choose to visit Iceland in winter because of the high chance of seeing the Northern Lights. That’s not all we’re going there for. We plan on seeing the glacier lagoon, taking you on many hikes, bathing in the blue lagoon, potentially seeing the flowing lava of the active volcano, and of course exploring the city streets.

## 28th DECEMBER

(Leave the U.S. on December 27th)
ARRIVAL – SOUTH COAST - KIRKJUBÆJARKLAUSTUR
After you land in Keflavik airport. Our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and take you straight to the South Coast where we’ll spend two days exploring all the exciting sites and landscapes. Highlights include Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skogarfoss Waterfall, Dyrholaey Peninsula and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach by Vík Village.

## 29th DECEMBER

GLACIER LAGOON
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading over to the Glacier Lagoon where we will see the famous icebergs floating on the lagoon. If we’re lucky we might spot some seals. Afterward, we’ll go on an exploratory hike. When the sun goes down we should be able to see the northern lights if the skies are clear.

## 30th DECEMBER

FROM THE EAST TO REYKJAVIK
After breakfast, it’s time to head back to Reykjavik. On the way back our guide will show us some of the highlights of the South Coast before taking us to Reykjavik where we’ll spend the next four nights.

## 31st DECEMBER

NEW YEARS EVE
We have a free day to explore Reykjavik on our own. At night we’ll have our New Years’ dinner together at Hotel Island. After dinner we’ll walk down to Hallgrimskirkja Church at midnight to experience the authentic Icelandic New Years’ Eve fireworks show!

## 1st JANUARY

We have the day to ourselves in Reykjavik. Some of us may explore the city some more while others will take it easy potentially nursing a hangover from the night before. Whatever you decide, the day is yours!
This is a good day to check out this famous Tommi's Burger Joint in Reykjavik.

## 2nd JANUARY

VOLCANO HIKE - BLUE LAGOON
We have a private bus taking us to the active volcano in Geldingadalur. After the hike the driver will take us to the famous Blue Lagoon where we can spend the evening relaxing in the milky blue waters.

DEPARTURE
We’ll have a private airport transfer by bus to Keflavik Airport.
