George Bass Hike- Kilcunda

Details
This week, we'll hike the amazing George Bass Coastal trail in Kilcunda near Phillip Island.
This grade 3 hike is approximately 16km in distance, and captures spectacular vistas of the rough seas of Bass Strait surging toward the shore. The cliffs have been sculptured into nature's unique work of art... the many caves and crannies attest to years of weathering. Below, frolicking whales tame the rough seas whist on their migratory journeys- maybe we'll see a hump-back! We'll definitely see birds feeding in the Banksia and hovering above...
The walk will take about four and a half hours and whist undulating, does not any major climbs.
Following our hike, lunch will be organised at Kilcunda Hotel..
Given it's winter, we can expect inclement conditions... a rain jacket and the winter woollies a good idea!
