This is an 8.4-km loop trail near Bacchus Marsh It is classified as Grade 4 and is generally considered a challenging route,so please keep this in mind when you RSVP.

This route can get quite steep as it features a short rock climbing scramble on the way up, but we'll be rewarded with views that make the climb well worth it. If the water levels are high, the trail might also be washed out in sections and there will likely be some river crossings required, so come prepared with the right gear or a change of socks. .

From the car park we'll head north on the Lerderderg Gorge track and follow the river track until Link Track No. 2. This follows the Blackwood Ranges Track and climbs steadily up to a junction with Link Track No. 1 where we'll will turn left. This track has a steep downhill section of about 1km before it returns to the Gorge Track and a short return to the car park. . Hiking boots a must and poles probably a good idea as this trail has rocky sections with steep ascents and descents.

Lets meet at the Mackenzies Flat picnic area Carpark at 915
