## Monday Nervous System Reset

### This Week: I’m Fine, But I’m Not

For the person who looks functional on the outside while quietly carrying irritation, sadness, disappointment, exhaustion, or emotional tension underneath.
Many people become so accustomed to pushing through, staying composed, and continuing to function that “I’m fine” becomes automatic — even when the nervous system is carrying far more than it was meant to hold continuously.
Over time, emotional suppression can begin showing up in the body as:

  • mental exhaustion
  • overthinking
  • tension in the chest, jaw, or shoulders
  • difficulty relaxing
  • emotional numbness
  • irritability
  • feeling disconnected from yourself
  • the sense that you are always holding something internally

This week’s Monday Nervous System Reset is designed to create space for the body to soften beneath all that holding.
Through guided meditation, calming sound, nervous system-focused relaxation, and immersive sound bath meditation, we’ll gently support the body in moving from constant internal bracing toward greater calm, breath, emotional spaciousness, and restoration.
This is not about forcing emotional release or “fixing” yourself.
It’s simply about creating enough quiet for the nervous system to stop gripping so tightly for a little while.
This event is hosted live online via Zoom. Register here: https://aurras.com/events/week-2-im-fine-but-im-not/
You’ll simply need:

  • a quiet, comfortable space
  • Zoom access on your device
  • headphones or speakers (optional but recommended)
  • the ability to sit or lie down comfortably during the experience

No meditation or sound bath experience necessary.
Hosted by Dorothy Tannahill-Moran of Aurras Sound Therapy, serving the Kansas City / Overland Park wellness community and online participants worldwide.
