## Monday Nervous System Reset

### This Week: The Tight Chest & The Lump in the Throat

Part of the series: Holding Too Much Inside
Sometimes emotional holding does not show up first as thoughts or words.
Sometimes it shows up in the body.
A tight chest that never fully relaxes.
A lump in the throat when emotions try to rise.
Shallow breathing.
Pressure sitting quietly beneath the surface.
The feeling of constantly containing yourself emotionally while continuing to function outwardly.
Many people become so accustomed to suppressing stress, sadness, frustration, grief, overwhelm, or emotional truth that the nervous system begins carrying the weight physically.
This week’s Monday Nervous System Reset is designed to gently support the body in softening beneath that internal holding.
Through guided meditation, calming sound, nervous system-focused relaxation, and immersive sound bath meditation, we’ll create space for the breath to deepen, the chest to soften, and the body to step out of constant emotional bracing for a little while.
This is not about forcing emotional release or reliving difficult experiences.
It is simply about allowing the nervous system to feel safe enough to loosen its grip.
This event is hosted live online via Zoom. Register here: https://aurras.com/events/week-3-the-tight-chest-and-lump-in-the-throat/
