Gareth Repton with 'MetaPop Star a Family Musical Film- Unveiling the Tech behind the Promo'
This speaker session will feature 2 of the films trailers and go on to discuss the tech behind the trailers, with time afterward for questions from the group.
Gareth has been directing TV adverts, animations, short films, & virtual productions for over 20 years. He has owned the first British Film VFX & Post Studio in China for 8 years, that has worked with some of Asia’s biggest productions.
MetaPop is the creative vision of Gareth to create digital avatars to be used in Films, Games and Social Media. Their latest creation is Anjela Pop, a digital Pop Idol from the Metaverse.
Gareth has a 1st BA Hons Degree in Virtual Reality Design, he looks forward to meeting you on this journey of collaboration.
Stacey Jenkins with 'Accessibility by Design: Not Just Settings'. Stacey will be talking about the future of accessibility in gaming, and how we can shift our focus from options/features to truly equitable design. There will be some interesting examples and innovations from studios of all sizes, with some time for discussion after.
Stacey is the Accessibility Design Specialist for Ubisoft Paris Studio, where they support and collaborate with teams to help embed accessibility into the DNA of their games. Stacey was selected as a member of The Game Awards Future Class in 2022 and has sat on judging panels for IGN, GAconf and Media Molecule.
