Talk #1: 'Creating interactive assets for language learning mini-games in Rive.app'

Antonina has been oscillating between academia (classics/linguistics) and illustration and motion design since 2015. They shall talk about their experience designing interactive motion graphics for educational mini-games (TA: kids aged 3-7 learning to read) and how their small studio is using Rive in their workflow.

A hopeful tale of how - after pitching Trash Goblin to over 75 publishers in 2023 - Spilt Milk Studios took to Kickstarter to bring the game to life. And how they'll never look back! A tongue-in-cheek tour through the highs and lows, and some ideas on what the future holds for games developers in this nightmare time for the industry.
