Rancho Guajome Adobe

Details
Join us for a visit to Rancho Guajome Adobe Ranch House in Vista. This is an authentic 1850s adobe hacienda. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the 22-room, 7,000-square-foot historic adobe served as the headquarters of Rancho Guajome, a Mexican land grant. The large rambling Spanish Colonial style hacienda has two courtyards, an arcaded veranda, plus a chapel in a former small house.
Note: Our agreement with management is that these photos will not be used for commercial purposes. Feel free to share on social media and use for personal purposes.
The adobe is surrounded by 112-acre wetland open space County park that is home to a variety of wildlife such as raccoons, ring-necked pheasants, white-tailed kites, least Bell's vireo and the great horned owl.
We will meet at 9:30 am, which is their opening time. Please be on time, as we will enter as a group at 9:30 sharp! There is a $3 per person admission fee. Please bring $3 cash with exact change to speed up our entrance! There is plenty of free parking, and restrooms are available near the parking.
Once we individually pay and enter as a group, we will take the group photo and then feel free to spread out to throughout the spacious hacienda and courtyards. I would suggest a wide-angle to short zoom.
