Encinitas Beach & Town Walk

Join us for a morning walk in Encinitas, along the beach with a return through the historic downtown district along Highway 101.

We will meet at 7:00 a.m. at Swami's Park overlooking the beach. There may be parking available in the parking lot; if not, street parking is plentiful at that time of the morning along K Street. Low tide is at 6:15 a.m., so we should be able to get some great reflections! Photo ops include tidepools, beachscapes, rock formations, and surfers. Once we reach Moonlight Beach we'll head back via Coast Highway, where we can photograph storefronts, murals, and street scenes.

A variety of lenses will work for this shoot, depending what you prefer to photograph. I will probably bring a 24-70 zoom for the street walk, and a longer zoom for the beach portion.
