Fleet Week - Broadway Pier

Fleet Week San Diego is looking for 2 photographers for the Broadway Pier on Tuesday, Nov. 4th from 10am-2pm.

Lunch provided on Pier.
NOTE: Any activity at or near Broadway Pier or on the Midway will probably have comped parking available nearby for assigned photographer.

Parking details as we get closer to the event date.

Shot List - 1: Ships arrive - Navy Ship, Coast Guard Ship, Columbian sailing ship. (Should know approx. arrival time of the Columbian sailing ship, 2 weeks prior, so keep an eye out for the update here.)
2: Then Marines arrive down Broadway with SDPD motorcycle escort. Marines and Motorcyclists group photos and lunch.
3: Press Conference at 12:00 noon.
Times off arrival is currently unknown. Ships and Marines could arrive at the same time. The 2 photographers should have each other's phone numbers to communicate on the arrivals. If the ships and Marines arrive at the same time, 1 photographer for the ships and 1 for the Marines arrival.

You will upload 50-100 of your best images. Do not included any copyright info on your images. Photography credit will be given, and with permission, they will add your contact information in the Photo Book that will be passed out to sponsors. Updates will come as to where you will upload them.

If it is slow for for pics, get what you can and you are authorized to leave early.

Ed Langmaid is my contact at Fleet Week and Ed is providing all the info and details that I am sharing with everyone. Ed is also a member of PPS now, so if you have any questions, you can ask them here, in the comment section and Ed will respond to your messages. Much more convenient that way.

Since there are only 2 spots available, you will see that it will show 10 spots available. As we get closer to the event date, the 2 photographers will be chosen. I am Not counted as a Photographer for this event. Please update your RSVP accordingly as need be, as we get closer to the event.
