Annual Year End Shoot at the San Diego Zoo

What is the best way to end another great photo year? With a photo shoot with old and new friends of course, at the beautiful San Diego Zoo. It's also a nice way to get a good walk in.

This year-end shoot has now become a PPS Tradition! We are doing this for the fifteenth year!

There is no RSVP limit for this event and you can bring guest(s) if you wish.

We will meet at the Zoo entrance by the giant Lion at 8:30 AM.
We will do the group photo at 8:45 AM and then enter the turnstiles and wait for the Zoo to open.

As for the route, it will be posted a few days before the shoot.

At this point, there are no plans for lunch. If you have a suggestion, please let us know.

As for lenses, bring your long Zooms. Don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen and other San Diego outdoor gear. During our photo shoots at the Zoo, we walk an average of about four to five miles, so comfortable shoes are a good idea. Important announcement: If there are any members who have a pass and can get a non-member in for free or have 50% off coupons, please indicate so in your RSVP, so that those needing a pass or discount can contact you. Through the generosity of several members, this has been very useful on numerous occasions.

There is no RSVP limit, and members may bring guests if they wish. If necessary we will up the number who can go. The more the merrier!
