"Specialty Produce is a family owned and operated food service and retail fresh produce and grocery supplier located in San Diego, CA." They offer private tours of their 50,00 square foot facility in which includes locally-sourced seasonal fruits and vegetables from over 50 farms, annually. Seasonal items can vary weekly and are sourced from San Diego farms and the Santa Monica Farmers Market.
We will meet at the entrance at 9:45AM, do our introductions and group photo. The tour will begin at 10:00AM and includes a Fruit and Vegetable Museum. Check out their website to learn more:
Please wear closed tread shoes. No backpacks or tripods. A medium fast zoom such as 24-70mm f/2.8 is a good choice as are fast primes such as 35mm or 50mm. Any questions, please ask Walter (619) 886-7893.
