Impromptu Balboa Park Late Afternoon Walkaround

Let's take advantage of the wonderful late afternoon lighting currently available to photograph Balboa Park this Tuesday, August 4 at 5:00 pm. Forecast is partially cloudy with temperature around 74 degrees. Sunset will be at 7:43 pm.

We'll meet at the entrance to Spanish Village at 5:00 pm, and then wander towards the Botanical Building, Lily Pond, Old Globe Theatre, Museum of Us and part way on the bridge towards Sixth Ave. We'll then head back towards the Prado, with possible side visit to the International Houses and end up at the fountain in front of the Fleet Science Center by Park Blvd.

There are two large parking lots off on either side of Village Place accessed from Park Blvd. These are the closest to the entrance to Spanish Village, where we'll meet.
