Let's get together at a location TBD to photograph the skies as the full moon rises and the 93% lunar eclipse plays out soon after! The location will be determined next week, depending where the skies will be clear. I have several options in mind, all are in San Diego County.

We will meet at 6:45 to get set up. The moon will rise at approximately 7:10 and the sun will set ten minutes later. The eclipse will begin to be visible at 7:33, then peak (93% coverage) at 9:13, and end at 10:52 pm.

I will post the location as a Private Comment on this announcement. If you are on the 'go' list, be sure to check back here for updates next week! I may increase the attendee limit once the location is determined. If you are on the waitlist, keep an eye out for that!

You will need a tripod and remote shutter release. A long lens (300 or longer) will work best. I recommend setting your focus and taping it down before the sun sets.
