Mono Milky Way

Come spend an evening under the dark skies of Mono Lake. We will meet at the Eastern Sierra Famous Mono Cone for dinner and then head out to the lake. Blue hour starts at 6:24, dark skies at 7:41. The MW will be at 80% vertical at 8:37.

I will be in the area starting on the 3rd and will be shooting different locations. There may be a good opportunity for some fall colors and other MW locations. These will all be informal and attendance is not part of the Mono Lake shoot.

Bring your widest and fastest lens, a sturdy tripod, a remote shutter release, a flashlight with red light capability, and lots of water! Snacks, extra water, a chair, and a jacket are also recommended. The most important thing is to be familiar with your equipment, and know how to make adjustments in the dark.
