This is just a Heads Up post
Fleet Week San Diego is back again this year and as most of you know, last year's fleet week was canceled due to the Government Shut down. This year we have been asked again to photograph Fleet Week San Diego.

The event runs from Nov. 1 - Nov 15. Event details will be posted soon, with specific details, photographer requirements, etc.

Each event will have it's own Meetup event page, to help keep things organized.

There are more event this year compared to last year so there will be a lot of photo ops.

To see more about the different events, go to https://fleetweeksandiego.org/ for a complete list of events.

At the "All Day" events lunch will be provided and some events, special parking may be available but they are still working on that. The shifts are 4 hours max. If you get all the shots that are required in 3 hours, for example, you have the option to leave, or stay the rest of the day and get the shots you want for yourself.

They will be creating a photo book with some of the event images, to be handed out to the sponsors, with the photographer's name in the book too. :)

Ed Langmaid is our contact person, and as we get closer to the event, Ed will be sending out emails to the chosen photographers, for any specific information he needs so you can get your badges. If you have never photographed an event before, the badges gets you past the line of the event you are shooting.

That is all for now. If you have any questions, please post them here. Ed Langmaid or myself will answer your questions. I did ad Ed as a Host for this event as well.
