Street Photography - Little Italy Mercato

Join us for a morning of street photography in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood!

We’ll meet at Frost Me Café & Bakery, right by the fountain at Piazza della Famiglia, at 9:30 AM. We’ll grab a coffee, catch up, and plan to start shooting around 10 AM.

From there, we’ll explore the Little Italy Mercato, capturing the market's energy, colorful characters, and everyday interactions, and maybe also wander through the surrounding streets.

## 📷 What to Bring

• Your favorite street photography gear
• Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
• A fixed 28mm, 35mm, or 50mm lens, or a medium zoom

## 🚗 Parking & Transportation

Parking in Little Italy can be challenging on Saturday mornings, so please plan accordingly.

• I've had good luck finding street parking along Ash Street.
• Lot 1519 (142 W Ash St, San Diego, CA 92101) is another option. It often has availability and is reasonably priced, but it's about an 8–10-minute walk to our meeting point.
• Public transportation may be your best option if it's convenient for you.
