Camping at Codorus State Park & Paddle Lake Marburg - RESERVE CAMPSITE NOW!

Details

Let's get one more camping trip in this season and make the most of our Pennsylvania boat launch permits that we bought on Memorial Day. People have long raved to me about Codorus State Park, so I figure its time to see what the hype is all about. The Park is just north of Carroll County, about 45 minutes from Baltimore or 90 minutes from DC. Lake Marburg has plenty of side branches to explore and we can probably do a river outing on one of the days. I'll post specific paddles as we get a better idea of the weather forecast.

I just reserved Site 14 in the Loop A campground. Let's try to cluster our sites nearby. There are only 25 sites left in the entire campground so DON'T HESITATE - RESERVE NOW!

I'm reusing a spreadsheet to track who is bring what equipment/food for potluck. Yes Katie, I'll make sure everyone has plates this time.

In case you haven't already bought one this year, you need a launch permit for each craft that you paddle in Pennsylvania. They are $12 and you should order them at least 7 business days prior for them to come in the mail.
