Paddling LA and OC

Join us for an afternoon of food, drinks, games, and community — all in support of Tilly’s Life Center (TLC) (IG @tillyslifecenter) and its mission to empower youth through mental health education.

This special event is proudly sponsored and hosted by David Sanchez, in collaboration with Chana Chiesa from TLC, one of our longtime members and a passionate advocate for the organization’s work. We're excited to bring the community together for a meaningful cause.

About Tilly’s Life Center
TLC addresses the youth mental health crisis through its in-person "I Am Me" program, delivered in schools, hospitals, and community spaces. The program helps teens navigate stress, anxiety, bullying, and social media pressure — building confidence, resilience, and a healthy mindset.

🎟️ Ticket Info – $30
Each ticket includes:
• One meal – pizza, burger, or salad
• One beverage – alcoholic or non-alcoholic
• One raffle entry for the grand prize (valued at $390)

Grand Prize Includes:
A North Face backpack filled with Rainbow Sandals, a Hydroflask, Diff sunglasses, Brixton and Brewery X hats, and more.
Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event.

Event Schedule

• 11:30 – 12:00 PM – Check-in at the TLC table near the main entrance. Pick up your food and drink vouchers and raffle ticket
• 12:00 – 4:00 PM – Enjoy live music, lawn games, great food and drinks, mingling, and raffle drawings throughout the afternoon (must be present to win)
• 4:00 PM – Event is over, but you're welcome to stick around!

What to Bring
• Kids are welcome!
• Photo ID (must be 21+ to purchase or consume alcohol)
• Payment method for extra food, drinks, or raffle tickets
• Sunscreen or hat (there will be shaded areas and umbrellas)
• Friends and good vibes

Look for the Tilly’s Life Center check-in table and orange signage near the entrance and outdoor patio.

Ample on-site and nearby parking available. Rideshare and carpooling encouraged.

Tickets are $30, and we strongly encourage prepayment so we can plan properly for food and space.

Prepay Required – RSVP + Payment through Meetup
We’re teaming up again with Human Aeon (www.humanaeon.org) for a wellness experience focused on contrast therapy, mindful breathwork, and meaningful connection, exclusively for our Living LA and OC community. Whether you're a seasoned cold plunger or trying it for the first time, you'll be supported by a relaxed, welcoming group focused on health, personal growth, and community.

What’s the Flow:
5:00 PM – Micro-Breathwork Session (optional but highly recommended). Ease into the evening with a 25-minute guided breath session to ground and reset. Space is limited. Text David at 562-537-9206 with your name to reserve a spot for breathwork.

5:30–7:00 PM – Cold Plunge + Sauna Sessions + Social Time. Cold plunges to invigorate, sauna sessions to restore, relaxed music, great conversations, and a welcoming space to meet others. Come solo or bring a friend.

What to Bring:
Swimsuit, towel (plus towels will be provided), water bottle, warm layers for after (sweatpants, hoodie, etc.), and optionally something to sip or share.

How to RSVP + Pay:
This is a prepaid event (limited occupancy). Please RSVP and complete payment through Meetup to reserve your spot. 100% of proceeds go directly to Human Aeon to reserve your access. After RSVP, you’ll receive a short waiver by email from Human Aeon before the event. Space is limited, so RSVP early.

Why We're Doing This:
This isn’t a paid promotion. We’re simply supporting a great local wellness space and creating time to slow down, reset, and connect. If you’ve never tried contrast therapy before, this is a great way to start—in good company.
