Welcome to Palm Springs Board Gamers! This group is for lovers of all things tabletop gaming, including board games, roleplaying games, card games, and more. Join us for weekly Game Nights at Starbase 505, a board game, puzzle, and comic book store in Palm Springs just south of downtown. All events listed here are free unless otherwise stated.
We would like to build a community of people who want to meet up for an alcohol-free activity. It can be hard to make new friends as an adult, but hopefully we can help bring folks together through our love of games. So let's roll dice, shuffle cards, and strategize our way to victory together!
Note: You do NOT have to know how to play any games in advance. Staff is available during game night to teach you. We have our own large library of games, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
We are 100% LGBTQIA+ friendly. Our events are all-ages, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Playtest Afternoon: The Aurnapse Project (Free Mystery Whodunit Game)
Starbase 505, 505 E Industrial Pl, Palm Springs, CA, USBe among the first to play The Aurnapse Project — a new whodunit mystery game, built locally right here in the desert!
We're looking for 6 players to work through the full story together: solve the mystery, crack an escape-room style challenge, and vote on the outcome as a group. No experience needed, no downloads — just show up ready to unravel a conspiracy!
This is a playtest session, so your feedback matters — expect some rough edges, and expect to have a genuinely fun afternoon helping shape a real game before its public launch.
What to expect:- Roughly 90-120 minutes of play.
- Played together on a shared screen
- A quick, casual feedback chat afterward (nothing formal)
