About us
This meetup group is for art lovers and artists at all levels who love plein air painting in and around Palm Beach County and the surrounding South Florida vicinity. The group was organized by Ralph Papa & Donna Walsh in 2010 to bring artists together to paint the land, sea and city scapes in beautiful south Florida. We welcome resident artists and visiting artists at all levels to come out with us to paint and document today's landscapes that contribute to tomorrow's history.
If you have never painted outside, it can be a bit intimidating. But it is an enormous amount of fun when you go with a compatible group, and the Palm Beach Plein Air Artists are so much fun. Once people paint with us, they can’t wait to come back. We plan going to many places in Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade Counties and have a lot of fun.

Exhibit Cornell Museum during Delray Concours DEADLINE March 24
Cornell Museum, Atlantic Ave. at Swinton Ave., Delray Beach, FL, USPAPB has been invited to exhibit in CONCOURS EXHIBIT at Cornell Museum at Old School Square in Delray Beach for the Month of April 2026.
This will a small spotlight exhibit and will be open to all PAPB Contributing Artists, but preference will be given to those who have participated in previous Delray Beach Concours Foundation Events (Concours or Delray in White). Invitation have already been sent to those artists and I have heard back from four artist.
This will be a small exhibit, so it is limited and only one painting each. Final selection to be included in exhibit will be curated by Donna. You will be notified of acceptance by March 27th, and drop off will be on March 31st, time TBA
All Contributing Artists who apply to exhibit must upload one car painting through this Meetup photo album site https://www.meetup.com/palmbeachartists/photos/35841328/

Please include title, size, medium, price and artist's name as a caption with each photo on Meetup. After you upload painting you will see 3 dots on the upper right which allow you to add a caption.Please attach a label on the back of each painting with the same caption information plus contact information.
Artist will receive 70 % of sale with 20% going to Delray Beach Concours Foundation and 10% to PAPB.
There will be a reception on April 3rd in conjunction with Delray Beach First Friday Art Walk and we may plan something during the Concours on April 19th, 2026
